about our workshops

What does my tuition include?

When you sign your child up for a twelve-week workshop at KISS Theatre Company,
your tuition costs cover the following:

Over 75 hours of theatre, music and dance instruction, and supervision
(that is two rehearsals a week, one tech week and four show performances)

An actor's script and music CD of show songs
(some Seniors shows have rental scripts that are returned at the end of the production)

Costuming and makeup for the performances

professional photo headshot of your child that is included in the show program

show t-shirt to commemorate the production for your child

This is less than $5.00 per hour for a well-rounded arts education for your child!

As a non-profit, we are proud of the affordable, instructional work we do with the youth of the Wyoming Valley.

Does my child need prior experience in theatre?

Not at all. KISS Theatre Company provides instruction in theatre, music and dance for all of our students,
regardless of their ability or experience. We are an inclusive, bully-free theatre.
Children of all abilities are welcome to perform in our shows.

This Saturday, September 23rd, we begin our next LITTLES adventure with The Music Man KIDS!

Under the direction of Christina Reynolds, children ages 4-10 are invited to participate in this toe-tapping crowd-pleaser designed for young actors!

The story follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, whose belief in Harold’s power just might help him succeed in the end in spite of himself.

Rehearsals begin September 23rd, 2017 at 10 AM and will be held every Saturday, 10 AM - 12:30 PM.
Performances are December 15th, 16th, & 17th.
Our Middles will swing into the scene in Pirates of Penzance Jr., beginning October 12th!
Our gang of pirates will rehearse every Monday & Thursday from 6-8:30 pm,
 and perform on January 19th, 20th, & 21st.
